Synopsis:  

“9.9 Billion Woman” is a story of a woman who faces the world after coincidentally getting her hands on 9.9 billion won (approximately $8.2 million) in cash. Jung Seo Yeon’s family suffers from her father’s violence, and although she temporarily finds happiness with an affectionate man after leaving her prison-like home, she becomes resigned to her fate as she continues to wander in search of happiness.

Kang Tae Woo is a nonconformist with the nickname “crazy bull” for always charging forward without caring about what other people think when he sniffs out a case. After being falsely accused of taking a bribe, he leaves his dream job as a cop, and he wanders listlessly without any hope or goals when his younger sibling, his only source of pride, dies. While trying to uncover the real reason behind his sibling’s death, he meets Jung Seo Yeon.
