The Killing Vote (2023)

In a world where serious criminals escape the law, things take a different turn. All adults above 18 get a text asking if those criminals should get the death penalty. If over half say yes, a mysterious person called “Dog Mask” takes care of the execution in a virtual world. Meanwhile, the police are on the hunt for “Dog Mask,” and this involves three individuals:

1. Kim Moo Chan, who leads a special police team in the Southern Police Agency.
2. Kwon Seok Joo, a former famous legal expert. He took justice into his hands by killing the man who hurt his daughter and then surrendered to the police.
3. Joo Hyun, a cop at the Cyber Safety Bureau of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency for five years.

This story is adapted from the webtoon “Gukminsahyeongtupyo” (국민사형투표) by Um Se Yoon (엄세윤) and illustrated by Jung Yi Pum (정이품).
