In a world where demons lurk beyond a mysterious portal, Ku San Young becomes possessed by one of these malevolent beings. Yeom Hae Sang possesses the unique ability to see the demon within San Young. Together, they embark on a quest to uncover the truth behind a series of enigmatic deaths linked to five sacred objects.
San Young leads a busy life, juggling part-time work during the day and studying to become a low-ranking public officer at night. When she stumbles upon articles left behind by her late father, strange and unsettling deaths begin to occur in her vicinity. Furthermore, she undergoes an unsettling transformation herself.
Hae Sang hails from a privileged background and teaches Korean folklore at a university. Since childhood, he has possessed the extraordinary sight to perceive demons in the mortal realm. Traumatized by witnessing his mother’s murder by a demon, Hae Sang confronts the very entity responsible for her demise upon encountering San Young.
Lieutenant Lee Hong Sae serves on the violent crimes investigation team and is solely focused on advancing his career within the police department. However, due to the involvement of San Young and Hae Sang, he finds himself entangled in these perplexing cases, thrust into a world of mystery and danger.
As San Young, Hae Sang, and Hong Sae’s paths intertwine, they delve deeper into the occult, navigating a treacherous journey filled with dark secrets, supernatural encounters, and the pursuit of justice.
