Ray of Light (2023)

Due to circumstances, Hao Nan had to return to his old teaching post. He meets new student Ren Zhen and a group of teens who, through their “unruly” teacher, gradually open their hearts to usher in their brilliant lives.

The 28-year-old Hao Nan left teaching for five years and became the owner of a pool hall, but the good times did not last. After having to close the shop, he resumes work as a teacher. The 18-year-old Ren Zhen fails the gaokao due to her unreliable father. She meets an equally frustrated Hao Nan on the rooftop, and he uses his own experience to encourage her.

Coincidentally, Hao Nan, who has become a teacher at Qingyun High School, meets Ren Zhen again. She is a new enrollee. In the days that follow, Hao Nan and the students go from not understanding each other to cherishing each other. Thanks to his efforts, these young people who are looking forward to the future come to trust their special teacher.
