Onihei Hankacho: Deku no Juzo (2024)

Other name: 鬼平犯科帳 でくの十蔵 ; Onihei Hankachou: Deku no Juuzou , おにへいはんかちょう でくのじゅうぞう

Synopsis: Ono Juzo, an officer from Arson and Theft Control Division, stumbled upon a scene where a wanted thief, Sukejiro had been killed by his pregnant wife, Ofuji. Out of sympathy for the wife, Juzo hides the dead body and keeps her at a safe place. Meanwhile, Arson and Theft Control Division has caught Kobusa no Kumehachi, a member of thief gang leads by Nozuchi no Yahei which happens to be the same gang that Sukejiro joined. Before long, another gang member, Ogawaya Umekichi claims that he had kidnapped Ofuji and threatens Juzo to release Kumehachi if he wants to save Ofuji.
