Synopsis: In the post-apocalyptic world of 2045, former soldier Wade Watts decides to become a contestant in the virtual reality game, the OASIS. His mission is to find an Easter egg hidden by the creator of the game before anyone else does, and the prize will make him the wealthiest person in the world. Wade teams up with his friends and they compete against a powerful corporate entity, IOI, to find the egg. They must face dangerous challenges and overcome many obstacles, but ultimately succeed in finding the egg and win the game.
