Maoshan Heavenly Master (2022)

Synopsis: Zhang Daoling, a deity, is tasked with escorting Tianting to Kunlun Mountain to punish Chi Lianjun for a crime. However, the mission is unsuccessful and Chi Lianjun escapes, resulting in Zhang Daoling being expelled. Determined to protect the world’s peace, Zhang Daoling begins a pursuit of Chi Lianjun. Years later, Zhang Daoling learns that many people have been taken away by black and white impermanence with no news since then. Suspecting that Chi Lianjun is using the victims to absorb their primordial spirit for divine art, Zhang Daoling begins to investigate the impermanence and hook.
