Synopsis: “The Last Worldwide Common Ancestor” is based on Charles Darwin’s proposition that the origin of all species from a common ancestor.

Ji Oh (Kim Rae Won) is a silent person who has a special power and secrets but doesn’t know who he really is. He is chased by mysterious figures, Ji Oh tries to find anwsers to numerous questions regarding his own existence.

Gu Rym (Lee Da Hee) is a detective who is transferred from the crime investigation department while working on a senior officer’s corruption case. Her parents disappeared when she was a young child. Her life changes after meeting with Ji Oh during an investigation into a missing child.
