Synopsis: Kamiya Seiji is a pottery craftsman living alone in a mountain village. His son, Kamiya Gaku, visits him from Algeria, where he works as an engineer for a large company. Kamiya Gaku tells his father that he wants to quit his job and work as a pottery craftsman, but Kamiya Seiji opposes this.

Kamiya Seiji’s neighbor Marcos, a Brazilian living in Japan, was once chased by a criminal gang. Kamiya Seiji stepped in to help him, and Marcos begins to admire him. Marcos becomes interested in pottery and he starts to learn the craft from Kamiya Seiji.

Kamiya Gaku and his fiance Nadia, who had returned to Algeria, experience a tragedy.
