Synopsis: In 1984, an explosion occurred that led to the investigation into a serial murder known as the Chimera case. 35 years later, in 2019, a similar explosion occurs.

Cha Jae Hwan ( Park Hae Soo ) is a keen perfectionist detective from the Violent Crime Unit.

Yoo Jin ( Kim Soo Hyun ) – Profiler. When she was young, she was adopted by her parents in the United States.
Yu Jin worked for the FBI and is now a crime specialist.

Lee Joon Yup ( Lee Hee Joon ) is a surgeon who was also adopted as a child and raised in England.
Jun Yup became a doctor and returned to South Korea.

All three have different motives, but work together to uncover the truth in the adult case.It soon turns out that there is a connection between the explosions of 1985 and 2019 …
