Synopsis: “The President’s Aide” tells the story of the real political players who run the world behind the scenes. It revolves around a lawmaker’s chief aide, Jang Tae Joon(Lee Jung Jae), who aims for the pinnacle of power, but struggles for political survival. Jang Tae Joon is a former detective who has excellent intuition and a strong desire to win. To gain more power, he enters the National Assembly and becomes the chief aide to a high profile lawmaker. He managed to place his lawmaker in the position of the party representative, but he has higher ambitions.

Kang Sun Young (Shin Min Ah) is a female politician who is trying to break the glass ceiling. Previously, she was a talented lawyer and hosted a television program devoted to current events in the country, and now she has become an elected member of a political party committee. Despite she has won the respect and praise of other women, as she strives to be on a par with men, her counselors find it harder to get along with her.
