Synopsis: During an investigation of a murder case, the chivalrous eldest daughter of the Assistant Minister of Revenue, Ye Yuan An, meets a constable, Zhao Lan Zhi. They become good friends. One day Yuan An saves Mu Le, a slave who loses his memory. She then takes Mu Le in as a family servant, who swears his loyalty to her. Along with Zhao Lan Zhi, the trio solve cases after cases together and get involved to a mysterious case that is connected to Mu Le’s real identity.
